I have been deeply saddened by the news that a friend that we had met online through my Cancer who shared the same Cancer has passed away Friday night. He left behind a young wife and son who will try to move forward with their life.
Kristin sadly had to watch her husband suffer with this terrible disease for such a long time and I can only imagine what it must be like to watch a loved one suffer so much.
Kristin and Shane with be in our thoughts and prayers for a long time as they move forward with memories of Chris and the love that he had and still has for them.

I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for this post, thank you for your remarkable words of support and encouragment, thank you for your offer to help. Life is remarkably different, and difficult, with Chris gone, and I fear it's a change that I will never adjust to. I feel like half a person, I feel like my heart is missing.
I think what you're feeling is normal. But I also think you should enjoy your life. God has chosen you to be one of the lucky ones, and that is a blessing.
I, too, feel a bond with you and your family and I do hope we'll continue to stay in touch during the coming years. I wish us all the best - you in your remission, and us in our healing. May God keep us in his hands.
