I am so very sorry to hear this news about Evan. Your family has been and will continue to be in my prayers. It is difficult to understand why someone has to go at such a young age with so much life ahead. May you find comfort and peace in the knowledge that you can be together again and Evan is preparing the way for you to join him.

Love,
Julie Jones

Sending you all my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers. What a blessing to have met Evan and to have been a witness to his amazing strength, grace, spirit and love. He will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him....but all of us were touched in some way or another....we all learned to live with a little more passion, to love with a little more heart and to find grace in all the passing moments of life....

Dear Julie and family,

I am so very sorry for your pain and loss; I have been praying for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to be with you all. Evan was compassionate, kind, and patient in all our work interactions. He showed tremendous faith and courage over the last few months, as he communicated his acceptance of whatever would happen. My 30 year old son, Gary, passed away a little over a month ago. I have prayed that he might experience the great blessing of meeting Evan . . . such a great man.

Julie,
I am so very sorry for you and your family. I know Evan fought with all he had to stay with you. I am not sure you would remember me, Evan would. I grew up right across the street from him until we were 12, then my family moved to Sandy. We stayed in touch even while he was on his mission and I was a nanny. He was always like a brother to me and we palled and played almost inseparably when we were small. I’ll never forget how excited he was the day he was to propose to you, and would not tell me anything about it, because you were to be the first to know what he had planned for you. After all you were the most important thing in his life, and still are. He wanted to make sure that you were first in his life, and that’s how it was and should always be. He is making another beautiful home for you in heaven, and preaching the gospel as only he can. I am so sorry I was not around to help you and your children, but I would love to be any help to you I can at any time you need me. I dearly love your sweet husband.

All my prayers.
